September 4-6 we were invited to attend the Programmatic Approach for AYAD and VIDA volunteer programs under AusTraining. i came along with Mavis. there were 10 of us host organisations that have and/or had a volunteer from AYAD and/or VIDA.

We stayed in The Heritage Hotel Manila. This is the view from the room overlooking the reclamation area and Roxas Boulevard.

Lots of planning and group discussions making the 2 year plan for the volunteer program. Meagan, an HR master on her own and a current AYAD volunteer sit with us to help.


After the planning and discussion, time to present to the critics and welcome comments on how to improve on it.

It was worth it after all! Now we have clearer vission, mission, goals and achievable objectives. Kudos to everyone!

And would i ever forget to pose? Nah, before they took out the tarp i had my last shot. ;-)
